Born from a fateful jam in the summer of 2021, The Last Light was originally a project that came together to support the music of Mr. OK for a single show in December of 2021. The idea was to take a selection of his songs written for solo live-looping performance and breathe new creative life into them as a full 6 piece band. It didn't take long for all members involved to realize that the potential of this collaboration was just starting to be tapped. With a lineup of players each with their own deep musical resumes and variety of styles to bring to the table, the desire to keep creating together beyond the first show was obvious. Off they went creating a lively blend of reggae, rock, hip-hop, & funk together to develop a type of groove music vacant in the local scene. They Released their Debut EP, "Music IS The Medicine", Early This Year.
